| Learn inspiring ways to engage your students in scientific inquiry with Liza Myers, artist/educator, and Cynthia Moulton, ecologist/educator as they again collaborate to offer this fascinating course. Cynthia has been teaching at Castleton State College since 1997, and has taught courses in the tropics for five years. Liza has taught adults and children for 29 years including four years in Latin America. | |||||||||||
In this beautiful outdoor classroom you will:
Through your observations and sketches you will discover your area of scientific interest. From there you will develop an in-depth investigation aided by the field station's reference resources, and our studies of the island's ecology. Foster your ability to observe, inquire, and learn in these unique surroundings and bring this new skill and insight back to your classroom to share with your students. |

| In this intensive learning experience we will be journaling, sketching, painting, and snorkeling. No previous snorkeling experience is necessary, but do bring sunscreen and a hat!

Students will arrange for their own air transportation and airport transfer to Belize City.
